# How to check bill lines against agreed vendor prices in MYOB Acumatica

Keep the agreed price list for each vendor outside MYOB Acumatica. Compare each bill unit price to the list and query any difference. Update the list when prices change.

Checking against agreed prices means comparing the unit price on each invoice line to the price list or quote you agreed with the supplier.

## Before you start

- Purchase Orders module

## The MYOB Acumatica way

Where to find it: Vendor Price Worksheets (AP202010)

1. Create a vendor price worksheet (AP202010) with the agreed prices. You can add rows by hand or upload prices from Excel.
2. Release the worksheet so the prices become effective. Promotional prices can have an expiry date.
3. Compare the bill to the order and receipt by hand.

## Limits in MYOB Acumatica

- Vendor prices are used when you raise the order. The vendor price help does not describe an automatic check of a bill against the agreed price.

## The Pulsify way

1. Upload a CSV price list for the vendor in Pulsify. Map the item code, description and unit price columns.
2. Forward the supplier's invoice. Pulsify compares each line's unit price to the list.
3. A higher or lower unit price is flagged. A line not on the list is marked.
4. Approve or query the vendor.

Pulsify connects to MYOB Acumatica. We set up the connection for you.

What Pulsify does not do here:

- Pulsify checks unit price only, not quantity.
- One unit price per item. No price history.
- A mismatch is a warning and does not block approval.

## Common mistakes

- Forgetting to release the worksheet, so the prices never become effective.
- Expecting the bill to flag a price that differs from the worksheet.
