# How to put a disputed supplier invoice on hold in IFS Cloud

In IFS Cloud, keep the supplier invoice out of the payment proposal with a note on what is disputed and who is chasing. Tell the supplier in writing and record the credit note when it arrives.

Putting a disputed bill on hold means stopping it from being paid while you sort out the problem with the supplier.

## The IFS Cloud way

Where to find it: Manual Supplier Invoice > Installment Plan and Discounts > On Hold flag and Reason ID

1. Open the invoice in Authorized or PartlyPaid status
2. Set On Hold with a reason ID
3. It is left out of payment selection
