# How to put a disputed bill on hold in MYOB Acumatica

In MYOB Acumatica, keep the bill out of the Prepare Payments with a note on what is disputed and who is chasing. Tell the vendor in writing and record the debit adjustment when it arrives.

Putting a disputed bill on hold means stopping it from being paid while you sort out the problem with the supplier.

## The MYOB Acumatica way

Where to find it: Bills and Adjustments > Hold

1. Put the bill On Hold. It cannot be released or paid.
2. Note the reason on the bill.
3. Take it off hold when settled. If approvals are on, it goes through approval again.
