# How to report contractor payments for TPAR from MYOB Acumatica

Check if you must lodge, list vendor payments from 1 July to 30 June from MYOB Acumatica and report ABN, name, address, gross and GST. Lodge online by 28 August.

The Taxable payments annual report (TPAR) tells the ATO what you paid contractors in certain industries during the financial year.

## The MYOB Acumatica way

Where to find it: TPAR Summary (MBTX4010)

1. Tick Track for TPAR on the vendor class or vendor, and enter the vendor ABN.
2. Bills for that vendor have Track for TPAR ticked. Change it on a bill if needed.
3. Open TPAR Summary, pick the company and tax year.
4. Click Export TPAR File > Validate TPAR File.
5. Then Generate TPAR File and upload it to the ATO.

## Limits in MYOB Acumatica

- Reports on 1 July to 30 June. Uses the payment's Post Date, not the post period.
- After release, use the Track for TPAR or Stop tracking actions on the bill.

## Common mistakes

- Forgetting to tick Track for TPAR on a contractor, so their bills are left out.
- Reading the report by post period. It uses the payment date.
