# How to run the supplier ageing report in Sage 200

In Sage 200, run the supplier ageing report as at your chosen date. Check the total ties to your accounts payable balance and look at items over 30 days.

An aged payables report lists what you owe each supplier, grouped by how overdue each bill is.

## Before you start

- Sage 200 Purchase Ledger
- Sage 200 Purchase Order Processing for PO tasks

## The Sage 200 way

Where to find it: Purchase Ledger > Reports > Payments Control > Aged Creditors (Professional); Supplier > Suppliers Reports > Credit Control > Aged Creditors (Summary) (Standard)

1. Open Purchase Ledger > Reports > Payments Control > Aged Creditors.
2. Choose detailed or summarised, the accounts and the date. Tick Retrospective to age as at an earlier period.
3. If you have foreign currency suppliers run Foreign Account Revaluation first.
4. To tie the total to the ledger, run it for the same date as the trial balance and compare with the Creditors Control account (Creditors Reconciliation Enquiry).

## Limits in Sage 200

- The Due Date report ages by the due date on each transaction. The Aged Creditors report ages by the ageing periods set in the Purchase Ledger.

## Common mistakes

- Running the report with foreign currency suppliers without running Foreign Account Revaluation first.
