# PO matching for IFS Cloud

IFS Cloud has PO matching built in. Pulsify matches each bill line to a purchase order line and flags extra quantity, a different price or lines not on the purchase order.

PO matching means checking a supplier bill against the purchase order it belongs to before you pay it.

## What IFS Cloud does on its own

Match to PO receipts and sub contract certificates.

## What Pulsify adds

1. Your open purchase orders come into Pulsify from IFS Cloud.
2. Pulsify links each invoice to its purchase order.
3. It matches each invoice line to a PO line and flags lines that bill more than ordered, are priced differently or are not on the PO.
4. A panel shows how much of the PO has been claimed, what this invoice adds and what is left. This handles part deliveries and progress claims.
5. Approve. The supplier invoice is created in IFS Cloud against the purchase order.

Pulsify connects to IFS Cloud. We set up the connection for you.

What Pulsify does not do:

- PO matching is two-way: invoice to PO. Pulsify has no goods receipts.
- There is no tolerance setting. Pulsify compares to the cent and the approver decides.

## Common questions

### What are the matching levels in IFS?

Header, delivery receipt and line. Header ties one balancing posting to the invoice total. Line uses order, part, quantity and amount.

### What if the supplier changes the price after matching?

Use Price Adjustment Purchase. It changes only the price difference and non-deductible tax postings.

### Can one company pay for lines that belong to others?

Yes. Multicompany matching lets one company pay while the lines belong to other companies.

### Does Pulsify stop a bill with a price difference?

No. Pulsify flags the difference on the bill. The approver decides whether to approve, reject or send it back.
