# PO matching for Sage 100 Contractor

Sage 100 Contractor covers part of PO matching on its own. Pulsify matches each bill line to a purchase order line and flags extra quantity, a different price or lines not on the purchase order.

PO matching means checking a supplier bill against the purchase order it belongs to before you pay it.

## What Sage 100 Contractor does on its own

Type the purchase order in Order# on 4-2 Payable Invoices/Credits and the grid fills from the PO. An Over PO warning can compare the invoice total with the PO balance. Receipts in 12-4 need the Inventory Add-On Module. A full three-way match was not found.

- Receipts need the Inventory Add-On Module.
- Receipts window takes quantities only, not prices.

## What you need in Sage 100 Contractor

- Sage 100 Contractor Accounts Payable
- Inventory Add-On Module for receipts

## Common questions

### Does Sage 100 Contractor do three-way match?

A full three-way match was not found. Invoices pick up the PO through Order# and an Over PO warning compares the total with the PO balance. Receipts need the Inventory Add-On Module.

### What does a receipt do in Sage 100 Contractor?

Entering a receipt in 12-4 creates a payable invoice in Review or Dispute and posts it using the PO accounts. When the vendor invoice arrives you recall and adjust it.
