## Common questions

### Is Purchasing included with Sage Intacct Accounts Payable?

No. Purchasing is a separate subscription. Purchase orders, receipts, PO purchase invoices and match tolerances all sit in it. Bills keyed directly in Accounts Payable do not need it.

### Can I receive part of a PO?

Yes. Convert the order to a PO receipt for the quantity received. Partial conversion handling decides whether the order stays open, closes with a back order or closes.

### Should every purchase have a purchase order?

Most teams set a dollar amount or a supplier list. Regular small bills such as power often skip a PO and go through approval instead.
