# Supplier statement reconciliation for Sage 200

Sage 200 has no built-in supplier statement reconciliation. Pulsify reads each supplier statement, checks every line against your bills and credits and names what does not agree.

Supplier statement reconciliation means checking a supplier's supplier statement against the bills and credits in your books, so nothing is missing or paid twice.

## What Sage 200 does on its own

Sage 200 has no screen that matches a supplier statement. The Creditors Reconciliation Enquiry checks the purchase ledger against the nominal control account, not the supplier's own statement. You compare the statement to Aged Creditors or a transaction listing by hand.

- No statement import or matching found.

## Common questions

### Can Sage 200 match a supplier statement?

No statement matching screen or add-on was found. You compare the supplier statement with the account listing or Aged Creditors report by hand.

### What does the Creditors Reconciliation Enquiry do?

It checks the purchase ledger against the nominal ledger control account. It does not compare your ledger with a statement from the supplier.

### How do I clear an unmatched payment?

Allocate it to the correct invoice in the supplier account. Unallocate first if it is attached to the wrong one, then allocate again.

### How often should I reconcile statements?

Monthly for your biggest suppliers, before the payment run. Start with the suppliers you pay the most.
