Multi-entity accounts payable means running supplier bills for several companies, each with its own books, from one team.

What Sage 50 does on its own

Sage 50 Accounts keeps each company in its own data set. Sage 50 Accounts Professional and Client Manager have a Consolidation option under Tools > Period End that merges nominal totals into a parent company. Supplier and customer records are not consolidated.

  • Consolidation posts nominal totals only; no transaction drill down.

What you need in Sage 50

  • Sage 50 Accounts Professional or Client Manager
  • An unused company slot in the licence for the parent
