A pre-BAS GST check means reviewing bills for wrong tax codes, missing tax invoices and suppliers not registered for GST before you claim credits.

The MYOB Acumatica way
Where to find it: Business Activity Statement / GST Return (MB.TX.60.11); GST Calculation Worksheet for BAS (MB.TX.60.10); Taxes forms
- Run the GST Calculation Worksheet for BAS for the tax agency (the ATO) and reporting period.
- Run Tax Details (TX620500) for the same period and check each bill's tax category and amount.
- Fix bills still on hold or unreleased.
- Run the Business Activity Statement / GST Return report (BAS - A for quarterly, BAS - G for monthly, BAS - Z for annual reporters). The version follows the ATO Reporting Period Type on the Vendors form.
