Example Pipe Fittings sends two bills to load. The bookkeeper opens A/P Invoice Entry, uses File > Display Export Fields to see the columns and builds a three row test file.
| Line | Amount | Tagged to |
|---|---|---|
| INV-901 elbow joints, 60 at $4.50 | $270.00 | Row 1 |
| INV-901 couplings, 20 at $6.00 | $120.00 | Row 2, same invoice number |
| INV-902 delivery | $35.00 | Row 3, new invoice number |
Three rows make two vendor bills. INV-901 is $390.00 ex GST. INV-902 is $35.00 ex GST. The batch shows as Imported.
