Invoice capture means getting supplier invoices out of email and paper and into your system as data, without typing them in.
What MYOB Acumatica does on its own
With the AP Document Recognition Service feature (licence-dependent) PDFs attached to incoming emails, or uploaded on Incoming Documents, are recognised and turned into AP bills in one click. Documents can also be attached to bills.
- Uses an external recognition service with a licence limit on documents.
- Accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Large files may recognise poorly.

What Pulsify adds
- Each company gets its own Pulsify forwarding address. Suppliers send invoices there, or you forward or upload them.
- Pulsify works out what each file is (invoice, credit note, supplier statement or purchase order) and splits a PDF that holds several invoices.
- It unwraps ZIP files and converts Word, Excel, CSV and phone photos.
- Each invoice is read into header fields and line items for review.
- On approval Pulsify creates the bill in MYOB Acumatica with the source file attached.

Common questions
Does MYOB Acumatica read supplier invoices?
Yes, if the AP Document Recognition Service feature is on and your licence allows it. PDFs from a mailbox or dropped on Incoming Documents are recognised, then you create the bill in one click.
How many documents can it read?
The limit depends on your licence. Ask your MYOB partner what your plan includes before you plan volumes. Check every recognised result, because accuracy is not guaranteed.
Do suppliers need to change anything?
No. They keep sending PDFs by email. You give them your Pulsify address or forward invoices to it yourself.
