How to keep an audit trail for invoice records in Sage 300 CRE

An AP audit trail is the record of who received, coded, approved and paid each bill and what was checked. What is segregation of duties?

The Sage 300 CRE way

Where to find it: Tools > Options > Audit Setup Activity

1. Switch on Audit Setup Activity.
2. Read changes in the Log Viewer.

Limits in Sage 300 CRE

• Covers listed setup fields only. It is not a full log of invoice edits.
• Invoice edits through Change Invoices create reversing entries in the GL.

Good to know in Sage 300 CRE

• Log Viewer shows date and time, user, old and new value and company folder.
