An aged payables report lists what you owe each supplier, grouped by how overdue each bill is. What is accounts payable?

The Sage Intacct way
Where to find it: Accounts Payable > All > Reports > Vendor aging
- Go to Accounts Payable > All > Reports > Vendor aging.
- Select View for the default period or Customize to change the as-of date, aging periods and filters.
- Standard buckets are 0-30, 31-60, 61-90 and 91-120 days. You can add periods.
- Pick the reporting period or type the date for aging. If you leave it blank the report runs as of today, based on the bill date.
- Set filters such as vendor and vendor type. Every box is optional, but running with no criteria can be slow and give too many results.
- Use the buttons: View, Print (PDF), Process & Store, Add to Dashboard, Memorize and Export to Excel or CSV. Memorise the report so next month you only change the As of date.
- For multi-entity companies at the top level, choose a Reporting currency and Convert currency from (Base currency or Transaction currency). The Txn amount column always shows the bill in its transaction currency.
Limits in Sage Intacct
- The report shows reversed transactions unless you change the setting in Configure Accounts Payable.
- Merged or duplicate vendors cannot be combined in the report.
- If you hide reversed transactions in Configure Accounts Payable, the help warns your subledger and general ledger might not balance.
- If you inactivate a duplicate vendor, run the report for both vendors because the data cannot be merged.
Good to know in Sage Intacct
- Can be run per entity or consolidated.
- To forecast bills coming due, enter the aging groups in descending order, for example 60-31, 30-1, 0, 1-30, 31-60. Groups below zero then show bills that are not yet due.
- If you compare the top-level and entity-level reports, set Convert currency from to Transaction currency on the top-level report.
Words Sage Intacct uses
- Entity. A separate company or business unit inside one Intacct company. Multi-entity is a core feature.
Common mistakes
- Not changing the reversed transactions setting before running it.
- Running it for one entity when you need the consolidated view.
