Invoice fraud checks look for fake invoices and changed bank details before money leaves your account.

What SAP B1 does on its own

Business One has a change log and authorisations. You can limit who edits bank fields and who can release payments. Ticking Payment Block on the Payment Run tab holds every document for a partner until your checks are done. The SAP help shows no approval flow for master data changes.

What you need in SAP B1

  • Authorisations on business partner master data
  • Access to the change log

What Pulsify adds

  1. Pulsify compares the bank details on each invoice with the supplier's past invoices and your contact in SAP B1.
  2. It checks the supplier ABN and flags one that is invalid or not registered for GST.
  3. It flags a tax ID that differs from the supplier record or is missing.
  4. If an email fails sender checks and the sender's domain enforces it, Pulsify holds the email and warns you.
  5. Each document gets one signal in the queue: Needs fix, Check or Ready.

What Pulsify does not do

  • Flags are warnings. Call the supplier on a number you already have before paying new bank details.
  • Pulsify never moves money.

Common questions

Can Business One hold payments to a new vendor?

Yes. Tick Payment Block on the Payment Run tab and every document for that partner is blocked until you clear it.

Is there approval of bank detail changes?

No approval flow on master data was confirmed. Use authorisations and the change log.

Where do I store the ABN?

The SAP help names no ABN field. ID No. 2 and Company Reg. no. are free fields people use.

What is the most common invoice fraud?

A fake email asking you to update a supplier's bank details. The next real invoice is then paid to the fraudster's account.
