A supplier price check compares the unit price on each bill line with the price you agreed, so overcharges are caught before you pay.
What Sage 200 does on its own
Sage 200 keeps supplier list prices on Supplier Stock Items with a list price and expiry date. When you record a purchase invoice the expected price comes from the order and you accept or amend it. There is no tolerance setting that blocks a price that is too high.
- The Sage 200 help does not describe price warning behaviour at invoicing.

What Pulsify adds
- Upload the prices you agreed with a supplier as a CSV. One price list per supplier, up to 100,000 items.
- Pulsify checks the unit price on every line of that supplier's bills against the list, by item code then exact description.
- Lines priced differently or not on the list are flagged.
- If a bill is matched to a purchase order, line prices are checked against the PO too.
- The approver sees the flag and decides.
