KINETIC

PO matching for Kinetic

Short answer

Kinetic has PO matching built in. Pulsify matches each bill line to a purchase order line and flags extra quantity, a different price or lines not on the purchase order.

Last checked

PO matching means checking a supplier bill against the purchase order it belongs to before you pay it.

What Kinetic does on its own

Kinetic matches invoices to receipts, not to the PO alone. Receive goods against the PO, then in AP Invoice Entry use Get > Get Not Invoiced Receipts and pick the receipt lines. Partial invoicing tracks what is left on a line.

  • Receipt based

What you need in Kinetic

  • A posted receipt
  • Allow Multiple Invoicing of Receipts ticked in Company Configuration > Modules > Finance > Accounts Payable for part invoicing

What Pulsify adds

  1. Your open purchase orders come into Pulsify from Kinetic.
  2. Pulsify links each invoice to its purchase order.
  3. It matches each invoice line to a PO line and flags lines that bill more than ordered, are priced differently or are not on the PO.
  4. A panel shows how much of the PO has been claimed, what this invoice adds and what is left. This handles part deliveries and progress claims.
  5. Approve. The AP invoice is created in Kinetic against the purchase order.

What Pulsify does not do
