- Cancelling a matched invoice rolls back every matched line.
How to do it in IFS Cloud
How to match a supplier invoice to a purchase order in IFS Cloud
In IFS Cloud, open the purchase order, compare each supplier invoice line to the purchase order line on quantity and unit price and query any difference before you approve.
How to handle a partial delivery against a purchase order in IFS Cloud
In IFS Cloud, keep the purchase order open, check each supplier invoice against what has been billed so far and close the purchase order only when the last delivery is invoiced.
How to set a price tolerance on purchase order matching in IFS Cloud
In IFS Cloud, set the tolerance levels on the Invoice/PO Matching tab of the Company page. A gap inside them is posted for you. For a gap outside them, add the difference posting by hand and name who can pass it.
What Pulsify adds
- Your open purchase orders come into Pulsify from IFS Cloud.
- Pulsify links each invoice to its purchase order.
- It matches each invoice line to a PO line and flags lines that bill more than ordered, are priced differently or are not on the PO.
- A panel shows how much of the PO has been claimed, what this invoice adds and what is left. This handles part deliveries and progress claims.
- Approve. The supplier invoice is created in IFS Cloud against the purchase order.
Pulsify connects to IFS Cloud. We set up the connection for you. More about PO matching in Pulsify.
What Pulsify does not do
- PO matching is two-way: invoice to PO. Pulsify has no goods receipts.
- There is no tolerance setting. Pulsify compares to the cent and the approver decides.

Common questions
What are the matching levels in IFS?
Header, delivery receipt and line. Header ties one balancing posting to the invoice total. Line uses order, part, quantity and amount.
What if the supplier changes the price after matching?
Use Price Adjustment Purchase. It changes only the price difference and non-deductible tax postings.
Can one company pay for lines that belong to others?
Yes. Multicompany matching lets one company pay while the lines belong to other companies.
Does Pulsify stop a bill with a price difference?
No. Pulsify flags the difference on the bill. The approver decides whether to approve, reject or send it back.
