Before you start
- Sage X3 Purchasing
- Setup rights
The Sage X3 way
Where to find it: Setup > Purchasing > Matching tolerance
- Go to Setup > Purchasing > Matching tolerance and create a code (up to 5 characters).
- Set the Unit of measure and Currency used for the match.
- On the Receipts tab set Quantity shortage, Quantity exceeded, Early receipt and Late receipt controls with a percentage or quantity and an action (Warning or Blocking).
- On the Invoices tab set the quantity and price or amount tolerances the same way.
- Assign the code to the supplier, the product or the supplier/product pair. It defaults onto the order line.
