SAGE INTACCT

Invoice capture for Sage Intacct

Short answer

Sage Intacct needs an add-on for invoice capture. Pulsify gives each company its own email address, reads every invoice line by line and creates the bill in Sage Intacct.

Invoice capture means getting supplier invoices out of email and paper and into your system as data, without typing them in.

What Pulsify adds

  1. Each company gets its own Pulsify forwarding address. Suppliers send invoices there, or you forward or upload them.
  2. Pulsify works out what each file is (invoice, credit note, supplier statement or purchase order) and splits a PDF that holds several invoices.
  3. It unwraps ZIP files and converts Word, Excel, CSV and phone photos.
  4. Each invoice is read into header fields and line items for review.
  5. On approval Pulsify creates the bill in Sage Intacct with the source file attached.

Common questions

Does Sage Intacct read supplier invoices on its own?

Only with the paid AP Automation subscription. It makes a draft bill from each document, fills vendor, lines and coding. It also attaches the original. Without it, bills are keyed or imported from CSV.

Can I bulk import bills without AP Automation?

Yes. On the Bills list select Import, download a fresh template, fill it in and save as CSV. Keep the header names and use positive amounts. Without the Post permission, imports save as drafts.

Do suppliers need to change anything?

No. They keep sending PDFs by email. You give them your Pulsify address or forward invoices to it yourself.
